About Prints
Historical-Antique Prints
At Courtyard Fine Art we carry a large selection of Michigan maps from the 1800's.
These are originals created as woodblock prints, etchings or lithographs and not
reproductions. Many of the maps document railroads, shipping lanes, mines, Native
American settlements, cities and counties. Occasionally the names of cities or
counties are noted in error or have been changed. Note that prices are not given
because we frame our maps and prints to archival or conservation standards making
it impossible to compare them with those selling reproductions or using cheap
materials.
